have the default installation config either exclude the toolbar install and search engine hijack or make it an explicit question for the user. Handling it as a fogged-out 'default' configuration is old school and inappropriate.

Calling it "old school" is not really the correct term. It's forcing upon us something most already know they don't want. If I can't install it without a forced toolbar, then I'm sure I'll cancel the installation.

That behavior just makes enemies of potential customers.

Having now installed the program, I've found that AnAceGuy definitely isn't an "ace" installer since he failed to see that Ashampoo does indeed allow a person to use the default intall or and "expert" install where the options are no longer "grayed out," as was suggested by our friend.

The install option is definitely not hard to see or understand

As far as I'm concerned, you may delete my first and third remarks (this one) since the first one isn't based on facts and the only purpose for this one is to OK your deleting what doesn't apply.

Because of the error, it would be OK if you deleted all my posts, although someone needs to expose his error made by "AnAceGuy."
